Portable power matters on remote job sites, in emergency response, at special events, and for off-grid living. Every setup is built around what the site actually needs to run. Solar kits, battery storage, generator-based systems, or a combination of all three. Sizing gets done up front, based on the loads the client needs to power and the environment the system has to hold up in. Northern Ontario winters, coastal sites, summer-only cottages. Each one calls for a different build.
Design, installation, and integration are handled in-house. Before the team leaves the site, the client gets a walkthrough on how the system runs, what the regular maintenance looks like, and who to call when something needs attention.
SYCTR is an Indigenous-owned electrical contractor based at Dokis First Nation, with over 20 years of field experience. A lot of the portable and off-grid work takes place in First Nations communities and remote sites across Ontario, where reliable power isn’t optional and a contractor who won’t travel is no help at all.
